I got copies of some new proceedings for a conference I missed a few months back. really excited and had a flip through, cant wait to have a read.

then I realised I am such a geek

not as bad as discussing with my mate for an hour about boosting the efficiency of the reboiler on a distillation column on one of the refinery sites we were working on.

we both had a laugh how we managed to pull off quite a nice piece of work and our girlfriends obviously thought we were both mad. We bored them to death that night i think.

"pull off" quite a nice pice of work . . . . . Last time I said that to a woman I got my face slapped.
