Art Deco sites in Uk

I would be very grateful if anyone can help list the main Art Deco sites to visit in the UK, anything from old cafés to stately homes but in that style. My wife and I are going to the UK in January and would like to see some of this. I have no clue whatsoever where though!

Try having a look here - Burgh Island

I know it is a hotel, but I am assured it is the epitome of Art Deco

And the pub on the island, the Pilchard Inn, serves very nice local cider

The Hoover building in West London
OXO tower - London
Battersea Power station - even if the middle has been removed!
Broadcasting House - London
The Fire Station on the South bank, opposite the Houses of Parliament
If you count Charles Rennie MacIntosh then there are the tea room and the College of Art in Glasgow, and also Rennie's WHite House (I think that is open to the public)

Chris,

it's worth it.. I stayed there once, for the weekend, (don't think I paid quite that much)... food was excellent, as was the service.

Michelin House is one of my favourite buildings. Now a the Bibendum restaurant , it was a Michelin HQ IIRC. It has some vey good tiled panels down the side. It is near South Kensington underground station, so you can do some theory too at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Did you?! *jealous face* I would kill to go there. Preferably for their Summer Ball or similar. It is my fantasy life - cocktails on the veranda with Noel Coward tinkling on the piano
