Someone posted this last week.

It was on the news the other day that the council is being investigated for breaches of safety regs because of it (which pleases me no end as Manchester Council are a bunch of twats). Could be a very expensive mistake for them when the ambulance chasers start challenging it.

Personally I am all in favour of the bollards, people are always trying to cheat and generally drive like idiots, if they miss the lights and signs and road markings for the bollards and still try to get through by tailgating other vehicles, then they deserve all that they get.

mmmmm, classic comments from a motor cyclist, a breed who never do any of the above !!!!

As a motorcyclist, the only thing I do different from other motorists is filtering, which is perfectly legal ( as long as i is safe to do so, etc etc)
Its that much more dangerous on a bike, so any bikers who do the riding like idiots etc are more stupid that I thought

There's a new bus lane in Plymouth but before the council could paint 'Bus Lane' on it, someone got there first and painted 'Crunchy Nut Cornflakes Lane' on it in big white letters.

I've not lived in M/cr for close on 20 years, my memory is fading. That scene looks sort of familiar but I'm struggling to work out the location.....so where is it filmed?

It's Market Street at the St Ann's Square end.

They used to have a rising barrier in York near Whip-ma-whop-ma-gate. Th ecouncil took it out again when it rose in the middle of a bus that it was letting past - classic.

Ah that's the bit the Micks blew up then, and was then rebuilt, which was after I left. The buggers parked the truck right opposite my old bus stop, I couldn't believe it when I saw the security footage.

I can't for the life of me think why they thought anyone would be upset about them flattening the Arndale Centre. It saved the Council a fortune in paperwork.
