OK so without going into the whys and wherefores too greatly it is becoming obvious to me that I am extremely unlikely to get 3 grand back from someone I used to count as a friend.

My mind has boggled with devious plans to 'get even' but if I am likely to be carrying any out anything at all it will be the 'sign up for every free offer going' type rather than nicking his cat and sending him a pair of fur gloves in return type.

So ideas peeps please - workable, funny, ridiculous or otherwise

Buy the cheapest, most run down car you can buy and the block him in very early one morning. Before you leave, make sure you take a knife to anything cuttable in the engine bay, and take the battery.

Yep - now way I'll get anywhere with the Small Claims Court with this chap, my own silly fault - far too trusting really

Still some good ideas there so far guys, I don;t think he'd be very happy receiving gay mail or having his driveway blocked. Keep em coming !!

There's an old saying:

"Have you ever lent a friend £20 and never seen that person again? It was probably worth it"

But, as you have lent him a few grand and not got it back i would suggest you fill his pockets with lead and 'accidentaly' throw him into the sea . . . £3000 for a small artificial reef is cheap and it would benefit the diving community as well

Thallium seems to be a hot topic these days as well . . . . .
