Well what an unusual day.

Me an Purple Vonny had a photo shoot and Interview for woman and home magasine 2day

What a giggle we had.

1st things 1st make up, Which may as well have been applied with trowel, Iv never worn so much make up ( u can leave out the statments about me obviosly needing it). To be fair it was nice to be pampered, and the end results were quite nice.

The next bit was where the real fun started when the fashion lady showed me and von our clothes.
"not really us was PV polite remark to the outfits"
"we are going for the sporty look she replied"
We dug our heels in firm and told her we would be seen dead in the old lady shorts she had for us.

I was then givern a white skirt that was about two sizes too small a stripy tshirt, purple von had a choice of white jeans that were too tight or a pair that was too big, and a pink tshirt

When we were still complaing we were told throu gritted teeth we could wear our own jeans. Result Laura and von 1 Stylist Nill.
Actulay make that one all as we had to wear her crappy tshirts.

After lunch we had make up re-applied then hair re-done befor a test photo.
The result we wernt allowed to wear our jeans
There was a compromise on a pair of white cut off each.

When it fianly got round to the picture taking it was both funny and silly. We were told to look natural, but primped and posed. The postions may look natural, but were actually really uncomfortable.

So there we are trying to look NATURAL, and smile sweetly, When Von starts whispering insults in my ears, so thats it exchanging of insults begins, between directions from MR photo taker.

"Chin up Laura"
"lesbian"
"Thanks von u big gay"
"Vonny look at me chin down"

You would of thought me and von laughing would be nice and natural, but no we were promptly told to sit up straight.

But I have to admit the day with PV has been a good one and a good giggle so thanks hun, and Im sure your gonna have your say about our day too.

I think i need an assistant every day to follow me round straightening my hair, perfecting my make up, and constanly adjusting my tshirt by a mm. No wonder models look so bloody perfect

Just got in. Need to remove itchy make up, I looked like a hooker on the train.

As Scooby looby says, we had a fab and funny day out!

2 hours sitting around. an hour having slap applied. Half hour annoying the wardrobe lady who tried to put me in BEIGE shorts and then blue and white shorts that looked like they had been made from a deck chair.... and a pink polo shirt. She did look daggers at me when I said "I wouldn't be seen dead in this, sorry".

Then we had to sit on the stairs and look "sporty". The wardrobe woman put a pair or gold ballet pumps on me 2 sizes too big. They soon came off and I said bare feet were preferable. I upset her again when I said, "you wouldn't get divers wearing gold dancing shoes, well maybe in Swansea..."

Interview about diving.... 10 minutes.

February issue, W&H, in your shops mid January. Yeah, I know, you'll all rush out and buy it.

Edit... we do actually look quite a bit more glamorous than usual. Not a trace of snot or salt.

Will you be posting a link to any on-line version on here? Woman and Home isn't big in Tassie, as far as I'm aware. I've got to see this.
