No don't think so, he in fact got told off by referring to "Palestine" and upsetting the Israelis (who wiped Palestine off the face of the map (replacing it with the PA)). As a young leftie he was pretty passionate about this. It has widely been spread about that he has Jewish ancestry by the bullshit-wing of let's-pretend Islamic medievalists that all that is wrong with the world is a Jewish conspiracy. However, as Hitler had Jewish ancestry I don't really think one can make the extrapolation..

Hateful bunch the christians, just blessed with better (i.e. greater than arms length) weapons. The A10 warthog with divine guided missiles, booyah.

I am a militant aetheist I think we should storm into nutty nations (uh that'll be our 'special' allies) and build libraries. I am passionate about secularism but religion is like a fatally wounded elephant, it's probably best to let it get on with dying and stay out of it's way. I watched something on BBC World tonight about "christian shopping malls" in the US and the "shepherd's guide" a yellow pages for "christian" (read greedy fuck) businesses. Some idiot yank was being interviewed about why she wanted her hair cut by a god-botherer.

I think the general idea is nice - "be nice to other folk" - sure. But it is (in the US) becoming a branding issue and driven by marketing and consumerism.

Poor old JC. Turning in his grave? the geezer is near 3000rpm...

The world is getting more stupid every day.
