Well, my Dec issue of Diver arrived this AMand, low and behold, the latest version of my Ocean Reef FFM gets a review (P98&99).

As a long time user of the aforementioned FFM I feel it is my duty to point out to the would be JEDI that he has made one glaring mistake and I am not amused!!!! Waddya mean THINK I look cool?? Bloody cheek I call it ..... I know I look cool in my FFM.

Furthermore, the irony of the situation is that I'm really warm and toasty whilst being cool at the same time. Maybe this phyical contradiction may assist those slightly more knowledgeable than I to finally resolve the mysteries of the universe?

As for looking like an alien ...... well ......... it is certainly true that there are days I don't wish to be classified as a member of the human race or, at least, a large proportion of it.

FWIW, I think the mask pictured in the review has a QC hose to the reg which makes becoming unpermanently attached to the cylinder quite easy + I might have mentioned about gas switches but ............. other than that it covers all the pertinent points and I may well have written that article myself which must entitle me to a cut of a certain dive scribe's enormous annual salary? I am prepared to settle for a freebie trip on the pretence of diving Bikini Atoll with my FFM?

In conclusion I am ending this piece of masterful prose ........................ NOW!

New OR FFM ........ hmmmmmm ......... I wonder if, as a long time proponent of the OR FFM they might just exchange my old one for a new one for free. When I say free, I mean I won't charge them for all the free advertising!

Can you send a picture of yourself, preferably wearing nothing but a BC?

By the way, although I merntioned it in the copy, the importer chose to send me a mask WITHOUT the quick-connection to the hose - even though they knew I personally campaigned with Sergio to add that feature (which he did as an option). It meant I had to pass my mask up with my tank! Completely daft!

Oh my yes ............... I love my QC hose. I thought I recognized the serrated style grip of the QC hose in the large picture but I didn't look THAT closely.
