Fine beer indeed. Their pub in clerkenwell is well worth checking out as well. I think it is orginally an old coffee shop. The brewery itself is also very nice - they do tours and also have a fine restaurant to while away a couple of hours. Recommended.

Mmmmmm St Peters beers are very nice, have been drinking these for 2-3 years now.

I have a liver the size of Yorkshire or it feels that way.

the porter that comes in the bottle with the pale blue label is very nice too

I'll second that - especially the Chimay Bleu at 9%. This stuff is still brewed by Trappist monks. I started bringing this stuff back from my travels 20 years ago, long before it was easily available over here. My next door neighbour, after trying some said 'Now I understand why Trappist monks don't speak - a couple of bottles of this and they couldn't say anything sensible anyway!'

I also like the St. Peter's beers too.

I brew my own, mainly from kits for Woodfordes Ales and I can thoroughly recommend them. Works out about 45p a pint.
