| Ho ho bloody ho... Today the toothache that I've had for trhe last few days became really severe so I found an emergency dentist. On the way to see him a Tesco delivery van tried to squeeze past my car down a narrow lane, scratched the side of my car and took the rear bumper off. Anyway, the dentist, who was about 12 years old and spoke remarkably little english had two brave attempts at injecting me. Admitedly the first was close but my cheek is not really quite the right spot. When I had helped him find my gum he was staggeringly swift at removing the offending tooth and the local anaesthetic kicked in only a short time after he had finished. I now have to take antibiotics for a week, have a damaged car and feel and look as though I've done 10 rounds with Lennox Lewis. I hope you all had an equally splendid day...

| Did the Tesco van stop and give you details? If not contact them asap and put in a claim and complaint. Which antibugs? The alcohol free zone one's? Did you get to keep the tooth so you can put it under your pillow and get sixpence from the tooth fairy?

| I used to have a dentist that was a semi professional rugby player as well. He was built like the proverbial 'brick outbuilding', and could have a tooth out in a split second and no-one ever complained about him  (Actually he was a pretty good dentist, and I am sorry he left that practice)
