If you ever spend some time time with him, you will see. He can be quite offensive without even thinking about it.

He is not one to blow his own trumpet either. As was said to his face on a Red Sea trip I was one, he plays the full orchestra.

He does get you on the sites though, not letting any resident dive guide stopping you from doing what you may want to do. As long as this does not conflict with his desires.
