| Sounds pretty damn horrible. All the best for your recovery, Phil, and I hope that they give you the legs of supermodel when you go in for plastic surgery Good luck Lou

| Well, they let me out two days ago, and due to the infernally slow internet connection and robbing on-line rates of the 'Patientline Service' this is the first chance I have had to read people replies to my posting. I would just like to say that I am genuinely moved by the goodwill wishes you guys'n'gals have sent me! Thank you all, and a Very Happy New Year to everyone. Once I get three consecutive clear bacterial test swabs from the wound, they are going to take me into a specialist plastic surgery department for skin grafts which the surgeon gleefuly informed me are likely to be even more painful from the donor site than anything I've dealt with so far ************* WARNING PROCEED WITH CARE ********************As for the gory bit, should anyone be interested, I have a 10 inch long incision down my right thigh, which because of skin tension is currently open to about 4-5 inches wide. I have a lovely view of a couple of major muscle groups in my leg, which thankfully is mostly pain free (at least it is with various combinations of five different pain killers including morphine). It is a bit bizzare giving it it's daily wash out in the shower prior to my visit by the district nurse.
