Yep, it's a chest strap heart monitor...haven't used it yet as just finding my way around the watch at the mo...

Here's a bit more info on this link:

I've got the older Forerunner, it works well, tells me what I want to know. It's a bit on the clumsy side though, not watch shaped, didn't bother about the heart rate monitor one as I have that on my watch. I'll catch up one day and get the next generation of Forerunner.

Well, today for me was a day of rest, so I went diving. Just 1 dive down to 18.4, in the sea, vis was really bad, about 3m. Sea was ok to start, then it picked up, a lot.

Tomorrow I shall be out running for 1.1/2 hours, don't care how far I get, it's about time on my feet right now. The more time the more calories burnt.

Is it just me............

.......or do we need to split this thread into several sections:

1. Couch Potatoes (my group)
2. People who already move a bit.
3. People who move a lot.
4. Carl Lewis' mates.

??????????

It's wearing me out reading some of the posts...........

Cheers,

David.

Another short run for me today but with Gary who is recovering from a cold/chest infection...so a couple of walks in between running quite slow to give info below...plus hard going again against the wind

3.85 mile
38.40 mins
774 calories burnt
Ave pace 10.03 minute miles

Hopefully he'll be running fit again soon so that we can get back onto our longer runs

Will keep you posted! You had a day off today Helen?

Kathy

I was gonig to give it a miss today as I run better and longer with a day off in between...but you are shaming me into considering a two-miler just to keep me on my toes
