I think a Ryvita smeared with marmite would be a better option Steve.

Run about 8 miles last night with WannabeMermaid, we even tackled the big hill. Mapmyrun calculated it to be 1058 calories (1hr20ish run)

Knee wasn't so bad this morning, but I'd booked a physio appointment so went along. No running for a week, with some stretches and strengthening exercises. Can still use the rower and bike in the gym though.

Worst of all she put some ultrasound on it, hurting like a b!tch now. My 10 minute walk from the house to the lab became a 15 minute hobble

Still will soon be back at it I suspect!

I managed 7 miles according to mapmyrun, 1159 calories, it's hilly down here. A comfortable speed at 70 minutes, afterwards I felt that I hadn't run at all and I'm not stiff today. Only 2 weeks before my 10k race, so that'll tell exactly what sort of shape I'm in.

Mind you still dieting, but I will eat some carbs for the 10k race though.

A Review of Therapeutic Ultrasound: Effectiveness Studies -- Robertson and Baker 81 (7): 1339 -- Physical Therapy

Ultrasound is no more clinically effective than placebo so it won't make your knee feel any better.

All I know it that it's really hurting right now

...and I've found out that it's a little baby girl.

There might have been a mistake with the results somewhere along the line though
