| Well, having bought myself a new mountain bike just before I went to 'reefie I've finally got the hang of it. After a few wobblesome starts and looking as balanced as an elephant in stillettos I have done two long rides this week - 45 minutes earlier in the week and 70 minutes today. My botty feels like I've been sitting on a razor blade but I'm thoroughly enjoying myself ![]()

| sorry for not contributing to this for a while, i've been gettin my shit together Am just starting to get back into my running again after about a 6 week lay off and predictably i've hurt my knee again. My weight has stayed off though so i just need to stick at it but resist the temptation to do to much to soon |

| Back to the gym today... 15mins on Cross-trainer, followed by 5km in under 29mins on the treadmill. Weight down to 85.5kg, and 18.3% body fat... and my colleague said I'm not my usual shade of crimson on my return to the office... its getting better Andrew |

| Four hours on my bike last week and over and hour on it last night. My ar$e is still killing me but I'm having loads of fun. I don't realise how much effort it takes til I stop and try to put my wobbly legs down!

| Well I've done the same as last year, entered a race, slacked off, two weeks before race number arrives, I go into blind training panic. Off for a run tonight. Fortunately it's only a 5km (around beautiful Swansea Bay) but I'm competitive with myself so will be insisting on a personal best!

| sounds very familiar, I use races as motivation, if I don't have them entered then I do several weeks of eating out and drinking as a well done! Fortunately it's hard to get a race a week around here so I get a 2-3 week gap depending (plus I need to fit it around diving too!). Lloyd
