an unusual week! or two?

i must start by apologising to anyone i have offended this last couple of weeks especially phil at diving niknaks, who i was particularly offensive to

story starts in 1972, pregnant slapper gives bad news that she is seeing someone else to chap serving with 36th heavy air defence regiment royal artillery,
royal artillery chappy goes awol as you would in these circumstances!

goes on the piss and ends up dead from 1 laceration to the brain 2 fractured scull and 3 ruptured stomach, coroners results accidental death

pregnant slapper is my mother dead guy is my father, mother marries stepfather in 1974,
how anyone can sustain a fractured skull, laceration to the brain and a ruptured stomach in one go i will never know? a ruptured stomach usually entails broken ribs as a precursor but such is life?

i picked up the death certificate this morning and applied to the coroner for access to the inquest findings this afternoon!

i then had a sad moment pondering my fathers death, and realised that life is precious beyond belief, it can be extinguished in a flash!

Yours is such a sad story to read, sad for the reader also where it is so evident of your hatred towards your mother. It might be worth you contacting your mother and other relatives who was around back in 1972 and ascertain the full circumstances of events as this may give you some peace.
A ruptured stomach can be caused buy many reasons however not necessarily because of fractured ribs.

This sub forum is called 'non diving posts'. To be honest, if all your contributions will be of this quality then maybe you shouldn't bother posting again. I think Mark had good reasons for his sad post, not least the sentence he started off with (which is diving kit / YD related anyway).

It is, and as with any social interaction at real dive sites, the conversation does not revolve solely around diving.

Can I suggest you have a look at the other active threads at the moment. You'll find that a large number of them are diving related. If you're going to judge the site on just one thread, and condemn it with your only post then you probably wouldn't fit in here anyway. You won't be missed.
