just watched the sunrise from my office

having got into the office on a clear day for a change I was stunned to see how nice the sunrise was. The view has been a distraction for a while but the sunrise was amazing.

Night time looks good too with all the twinkling lights.Looks like I need to get a digital camera in instead of my mobile phone.

this is the view from my office at 7.15

and here is the view at 8.00

I've always thought sunrises were prettier than sunsets. Luckily I work offshore on the midnight to midday shift, so iI see one every day. Mine doesn't have a millenium dome in it though. That is pretty f**kin' cool....

The landscape is still - you should sober up.

Canary Wharf area eh? I remember when P&O shipping filled those docks.

I watch the sun coming up over the sea at lyme bay. I wonder why the water doesn't extinguish it?

p.s. I know really. I just thought I'd ask before Kirstie did.

It does - why do you think it gets dark at night?? One day when the sun-lighting elf fails to go to work, we'll all be in the dark all day long.

(no change there, then)
