Yes, very true, but I got Diverswarehouse to make me a hood that was a bit more generous down the sides of my face and I just seat the mask on the hood.

It is a pain getting kitted up, especially on a RIB as I need a bit of space to lay stuff out, so I've got used to going in last and being the hero diver that sends the anchor up on a bag. I'm still trying to negotiate a discount for all the gas I've used trying to save that lazy tyke Markus from having to pull the thing up.

Of course he bleats about it getting "stuck in a wreck" etc BUT I'm the poor sod who has endanger life and limb by sorting the anchor out with all those Ninja prawns and killer plaice and things floating around. I got strsight armend by a bit of tough seaweed once!

I found an AGA and an EXO easy with my hood, just turned the hood inside out and it gave a great seal.

Yes well:-

1. Fortunately I remembered to hum Tubular Bells to myself in order to stay calm.
2. It was my dry suit hose that stuck open.
3. Had it not been for the teachings of Mike Oldfield then Dave (skipper) might not have reacted so fast and 'shut me down'.
4. It was one of my backup regs that was weeping gas.
5. Just because you are young and can still hear such quiet hissing ................
6. There were no FFM problems that I can recollect.
7. Jealousy will get you no where.
8. Long live Tubular Bells.
9. I especially like Moonlight Shadow with Maggie Riley doing vocals.

I never tried that although, TBH, the skirt on the FFM is so good it will seal around almost anything. Also, it was only an extra couple of wuid to get my hood made (to a standard size) and you can get the smooth stuff (double sided) put around the face part of the mask.
