What should i do....

Ok, the cast on my arm was loose, and with a bit of work i managed to take it off

First thing was a good scratch of all the bits which had been driving me mad, second was a bath

Question is, do i put it back on again? It feels ok, great in fact, most of the bruising has gone. Only thing is it has been on for a week and has driven me mad, but i know it is doing me good.

Go back to the doc with head hung in shame and ask them to put a new one on. You may find they give you a smaller cast depending on the brak and the time left to heal (I had a lower arm cast replaced with 2 pieces of tape).

Forcing your arm back in there may make things worse

Had a knee brace a few years ago which i used to take off (when not supposed to).

Was supposed to avoid any weight bearing for 1 month - but accidentally forgot to bother with the crutches, and started driving, etc

I now blame that defiance of medical advice is the reason it still gives me trouble (9 years later )

Ok ok, its back on (no force needed, i must have had some muscles under all that lard, as it has shrunk a fair bit). Im due a re-ex in a week, i reckon i can put up with it till then. You guys really are no fun

i bet your the sort of girl when you were little, if you grazed your knee, you'd start picking at the scab when it formed???
