| Anybody done Shooting in Prague ?? Off to Prague later in the year, as part of a stag do. Does anybody have any experiences of any of the 'shooting' outfits that operate out there. I am thinking of the type that let you have a go with an AK47 etc... Any expericences good or bad please I am looking for personal recommendations. I can google as fast as anybody

| Not in Prague - but in Riga: Latvia. You will have an absolute hoot. They will problably insist that you should not be under the infulence of Alcohol - so just be a little careful of who you breathe on.. We shot a 9mm pistol, an AK47 and a pump action shotgun. I remember turning up to the range (in a former soviet bunker) and being very intimidated by the weapons of death* and also shocked at how loud they were on the range in the next room. * for $130 you could buy an AK47. they had bullets for sale in bargain bins - like you might find chocolate bars in the supermarket.. they had all sorts of stuff for sale - Mace, knifes, huge fireworks etc. (not me..) Posing with the high power weaponry on Flickr - Photo Sharing! Our targets, before we got let loose on them on Flickr - Photo Sharing! just to give you a flavour of what to expect - though I would think the Czech republic has less of a 'gung ho' approach than latvia..
