Today I had an dealing with a traffic warden!!

Parked outside my LDS, 2Dive4, on the double yellows to lug the twins and stage in for a fill. Got caught up talking and supping on a cuppa and out of the corner of my eye I caught a glimpse of the peaked hat of a traffic warden.

FECK! I thought and dashed out there. He didn't mind at all though and just wanted me to move it rather than slapping a ticket on it. MUCH nicer than traffic wardens I've encountered in the past. Apparently he's very reasonable like that all the time!

Just thought I'd post it here and say thanks to the Traffic Warden incase he's a member

thats because you caught him.. I believe they are supposed to wait a small amount of time after finding the vehicle before issuing a ticket.. (5 mins?)

if you hadn't he would have still given you the ticket.. unless he was really, really nice and came into the shop and asked.. but wardens like that are like rocking horse doo doo.

Apparently this one does exactly that!!

Note to self : Must smell him next time to see what rocking Horse doo doo smells like... Any guesses? From the colour of his hair my guess is Ginger Nuts!

That's what they are supposed to do - keep the traffic moving. Only the privatised money-grubbing type favoured by the Tory councils (Westminster in particular) are there to generate revenue.

Still, as long as everyone keeps moaning endlessly about taxes what can you expect?
