The Jam, to reform ??
I've just heard bloke on BBC news 24 half an hour ago, talking about The Police reformed for the gig last night, and he was talking about other groups that have reformed recently, Genisis, Crowded house, ect, and he also said The Jam have reformed,

Now I've googled, and searched on BBC, till I'm blue in the face, but can't find any other info, and I'm sure that Mr Weller said a few months ago, that he'd rather get a job on a building site, than reform The Jam, has he had a change of heart ?, or did the bloke on BBC News, get it wrong ?, and build up my hopes for nothing,

Anyone else heard anything ?

I think they played a one off gig in New York last week... saw something on the news about it... Think also, it was the original line up, but may have been Weller plus others, not too sure, Mr Shaw!

I wonder if this is what you heard about ? may also explain why the BBC guy got it wrong, cos it's not been repeated in any other BBC news broadcasts since.

He has always said he would never reform the Jam. Its only last few years or so that he has played jam songs live at his gigs.

Aha!! They have though. Ringo Starr's son Zak Starkey is on Drums & Pete Townshend's little brother Simon is playing guitar.

They're playing in Dublin on June 29th.
