Dust busters needed.
EO Natural Hazards: Dust over the Arabian Sea

Has anyone dived in the Arabian Sea? Does anyone know about diving there? Looks like the vis might drop a bit when the dust settles? Google! Here I come.

I'm off to Goa at the beginning of March, apparently the viz is pretty awful full stop, so more dust won't help

Take a quick dive in my part of the world (according to Colinicky) and you will be impressed with the vis anywhere else in the world!

I was watching Planet Earth the other night (the shallow seas one, I'd +'d it from before Christmas) and I'm sure it mntions this... apparently it is a good thing as it isn't just dust, its full of nutrients that fall into the water... this in turn helps feed the marine life... so not all bad after all. Unless I've got my facts totally wrong - in which case I'm spouting a load of bolloxs, once again!

Is there a danger that the nutrients may be of befefit to algae and the detriment of corals ........ if there are any in the Arabian Sea?
