| Need a solicitor as I'm moving house- but not one that's a lazy tw@t Suggestions please? I need a decent solicitor and don't know any so if anyone has any personal recommendations then I'd like to hear them.

| We used a company called Tiger Conveyancing. They work online, text you updates, were quite cheap, very persistent and have a 'no sale no fee ' guarantee......good if the chain collapses.

| Looking for a good solicitor is like trying to find a virgin in a brothel. They do exist but you may get seduced (screwed) several times before you locate one.

| oooo don't get me started. "Yes, we're waiting for searches" "yes everything seems to be going well" "yes, I know it's been two months but these things take time"........................... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  Oh, and no, I don't know a good solicitor. Is that an oxymoron?

| I think thats what I liked about this lot. You get a conveyancer allocated (not a sollicitor) they do all the leg work and it gets signed off by a sollicitor. As this is pretty much all they do they move through it all very quickly with a kind of production line approach. one thing to make sure is that if when they allocate you someone ask if they have any holiday scheduled within a couple of weeks of the expected completion time.

| We've used the same solicitor for years now, for house moves and personal situations and we can;t speak highly enough about them. When we moved into our new home we did it in 4 weeks flat!! and got compensation from our buyers solicitor for being an arse and delaying the transfer of funds! The only drawback is that they're based in the North East, but if it's not a problem PM me and I'll advise their details. Good luck.

 I used Robert Barber & Sons based in West Bridgford, when I bought my house. Pretty good service & didn't have to sell a kidney to pay for it........ HTH Steve
