Are You Being Served was a great show, although it typecast John Inman for ever more. He spent the last few years in panto.

My thoughts are with his family and partner, he provided many a laugh in more innocent times.

Even though he parried were I work (John Lewis) we all admired him and will miss him. RYBS was spot on and the characters are so recognisable here. Can't wait for the obligatory re-runs
