Busy day......

So, there we were Friday morning. Up at 6:00am to drive the car 400km to Dubai. The usual shopping trip.....no! Dubai Desert Rock......

My son and I arrived in Dubai at about 12:00 and after lunch got to the rock festival site at 14:00. The bands started at about 16:00 with Stone Sour, Mastodon and In Flames. All OK but nothing compared to Prodigy, who were on stage for over an hour. Even Prodigy paled into insignificance at 22:00 when Irom Maiden came on.

What can I say? Bruce was 15 foot away from me....I could smell the sweat! What a fantastic stage performance....everything on stage including a tank and an 8 foot Eddie! Lots of new songs and several classics.

All finished about midnight with a firework display. Hoped in the car and headed home. Finally hit my bed at 5:00am Saturday.

A very busy day.....but well worth it.
