If you're concerned about getting recycled into a male sex toy then specify in your will that you want to be made into a rabbit. The, er, external stimulator bit (i.e. the ears) don't really fit terribly well in the male anatomy.

I don't fancy cremation either, I visited a working crematorium when I was involved in designing one a few years ago. At the other end of the ovens you come out and get shoved in a coffee grinder type machine, not very dignified. There were a load of men in flat caps sat around eating butties and drinking tea while one was grinding someone. I don't fancy becoming part of someone's mug of PG Tips.

I don't want embalmed either. I especially don't want my gob supergluing shut or some very bad make-up applied. I'm not being left to science, I can't stand students so none of those twats are getting their mitts on me.

I wouldn't mind a viking funeral or some very grand stone tomb with proper Indiana Jones stylee booby traps.

Cheers,

Stuart

I've been saying for years that I want a viking funeral on a burning longship set adrift in Plymouth sound where I did my first dive and timed to obstruct the cross channel ferry as that bugger has interupted my dives once too often.

I read somewhere that you can get your ashes taken into space on a space shuttle and then they get vented out somehow... probably through the same sort of system used to vent other things they don't particularly need to bring back to earth.

Personally, I don't give a fig about what happens to my body when I am dead, so long as I am not buried. I think that is a complete waste of space. Take any bits to give anyone else a better quality of life then use the rest to figure anythign out that needs figuring out.

I won't need it anymore.

LOL, just as long as you don't run aground at the Waterfront and traumatise classloads of OW students.

Or get washed into the Marina in front of folk trying to enjoy their Cap'n Jaspers

Mind you, if you could arrange to be launched towards Bovisand Beach around the August Bank Holiday weekend, it'd save Aquanauts club members bringing disposable barbeques.....

You wouldn't think that if this lot lived next to the morgue?

When I raised the subject with my Missus she was decidely 'off' and didnt even want to discuss it, sort of indicated she wanted me buried so she could then be next to me for all time, so I suppose you might want to take your wife's view into consideration.

I would have thought that she would have you cremated and put into an egg timer. That way she may finally get some work out of you. Hee hee.
