| There is no such thing as the perfect album. It all depend on you mood. If your going through a divorce there is only one album. Vergal Sharky Man I loved that album at the time. If your in Love and its the 80s then George Michel and Faith However if your in between emotional crises and just want to blow your own mind then Physical Graffiti by Led Zep takes some beating. On the other hand if your feeling a bit edgy and with it, then The Gorilaz is awsum The greatest album ever?????? Slightly pissed or high on a splif it has to be Kate bush and Hounds of Love. Feeling all with it and 2000ish??? Arctic Monkeys is fantastic. Feeling all posh? The Four Seasons (classical) is a f#ing epic piece of music. See..... there is no greatest album. ATB Mark Chase

| The Wedding Present 'Bizarro'. Probably not the best album in the world. Probably not the best album I own but it's top of my list because I can play it to death and still play it again the next day. Other albums I play to death and can't face listening to them again for years (just done that to the new Arcade Fire album). The single Brassneck next to Teenage Kicks being my favourite single. |

| The Stranglers - 'Rattus Norvegicus', or maybe the Pixies' 'Surfer Rosa', or maybe John Lee Hooker's 'Simply the Truth'. I like the Beatles classics, but I can't listen to Sergeant Pepper. For me it has to be Revolver or Rubber Soul. Pet Sounds is often mentioned alongside these, but I just don't get it. I guess I missed that meeting. Basically, I like skanky, dirty music with a bit of soul. SR |

| As Mark says very dificult to pick one because of differing moods, but if forced to then... London Calling - The Clash Closey rivalled by Stay Down - Two Lone Swordsmen Dave.
