It was a few years ago but I paid about £550 with BA. You can get cheaper with a charter but after a 9hr flight with Monarch to Calgary I'd rather pay a bit extra.

2002 - £700 - with a change at Amsterdam.

Your prices seem ok to me.

We did it as part of a package, 1200 with 2 weeks all-inclusive an hour down the coast from Cancun. That included upgrade to Cattle+ on Monarch, which gave a better baggage allowance for all that dive kit, my reason, and you got stuff, rather than having to pay for anything and everthing on-board, and wider seats, better leg room, the wife's reason for doing it! Worth it for that length of flight as it was only about 150 extra.

try Thomsonfly - The low fares airline that goes further - Homepage - we flew to cancun last september for 275gbp return. 20kg + extra 5kgs for being a diver. There is a local tax of about 40 dollars to get out.

I last went with Air Canada via Toronto. Flew out Friday night, got there at midnight and then had a couple of days there before going onto Mexico. Try their website. It was cheaper booking direct.

Or MyTravel certainly used to go if you can stand it.

2005, £1450 for two weeks all inclusive, that included upgraged seats on the plane, i think the upgrade was 80 each way but well worth it for the extra leg room. I did standard seat to florida and i know which i prefer. That price doesnt seem so bad for the peak season....

Cheers

Adam
