What side dishes? I'm partial to a bit of Saag Aloo, Saag Paneer, and we've just found the delights of Brinjal Bhaji (Aubergine) which is LUSH!!!
Peas Paneer - mmmmmm cheesy peas

Anyone had a cheese naan? Much as I love cheese, I can't imagine it in a naan. Do they use the same cheese as the stuff in the Peas Paneer or is it grated cheddar?

If you like it hot, you should try out what used to be the Rupali in the Bigg Market in Newcastle. Scene of many a stag night inc a great mate of mine. Try the Curry Hell Challenge - check out the disclaimers on the PDF version of the menu. He passed but was sweating like a hog

Curry Capital - North East, Newcastle, Curry, world's hottest curry, Guinness Book of Records holding restaurant, award winning

BTW - this is the curry house and Lord Harpole that often features in Viz.

I see. Perhaps I'll stick to Peshwari naan with a smearing of lime pickle.

Chicken Jalfrezi is normally not quite as hot as vindaloo but it is different because it has fresh chillies in it. I normally ask for mine Vindaloo hot but it never comes as hot as a vindaloo.

Big problem is defferent chefs have different ideas about how hot something should be.

Go in one place and its fine, then another and its too weak.
