(Can't recall the name, but that'll be right over by Chesil Cove/Chesil Beach side. A fair stroll.)

The Cove House Inn overlooks Chesil Beach and is not a bad pub. Food is, or at least used to be very good.

The Masons and Mariners (used to be the Victoria Lodge) is on the left as you navigate round the "peanut" roundabout at the end of the causeway connecting Portland and Weymouth. Used to be a rough pub...not sure what it's like now.

New Star Inn....up in Fortuneswell......erm....never fancied going in there to be honest

The Clifton Hotel.....near Portland Young Offenders Institution is a good pub with good grub....but you'd have to drive it!

Not quite....There's only the Cove House Inn actually up there in the Cove.....the Little Ship is in Victoria Square opposite The Masons & Mariners but if you're going to traipse up to Vicky Sq you may as well carry on and head into the Cove House Inn.
