| I found the wet notes belonging to one of our instructors last year and tittered uncontrollably reading them. I presume they were instructions to a student but they could have been for a deaf prozzie. the messages went something like this: Don't pant so much You are squeezing too hard keep your legs still let go try it on your back (hovering????? ) do it again

| And my all time favourite, the page which reads "that's shit, do it again" which is often used when I go and try and look cool on courses I have used them a couple of times, and they have been useful. I can't think of any other way I could have communicated to every diver that came past whether they had any tools I could use. I also can't think of how else I could write down so many dive plans for so many depths and times. If I break the VR3 there's a table for just about anything I couldn't plan in my head in about 3 minutes. Digs. |

My favourite time was when I got them out to write a message and found a note written in them by a gorgeous asian girl I know "Hey Rob, stop thinking about naked women & hold-ups!!" I nearly spat my reg... |

There've been a couple of times when I've got my notes out, only to find there's no lead in my pencil. Just an empty plastic pencil. Janos

| As has been said......a very good instructional tool. Use mine for Boat Handling/Dive Cox'n courses. How else are you going to 'tick' all the boxes if your paper is sopping wet! Also used mine on the recent 1st Class assessment. We had to lay lines and produce diver guides of a wreck. Very usefull for drawing pictures when you are surveying. Neil ps....my latest wet note was a gift from the NDO himself!
