I'm guessing that you also aligned yourself with our fearless leader Blair when he made a similar comment about a 15 year old girl who had just won gold for England at the Olympics. I started shooting when I was 11, have now been shooting safely for 40 years and if either of my kids wanted to learn i would happily teach them and make sure thay are safe. The ethics ofr shooting are no different to taking lobbies, crabs etc when we dive, some are for it, some aren't. Vive la difference! I'd add that I have been wild boar hunting and it's a scary game.

I am strugling to beleive you could down that with a pistol or that an 11 year old could handle the recoil of a gun bigenough but i cant see what hes fireing so it may be some fancy recoiless thing.

Its a feral animal (if the earlier post is accurate sold to a slaughter house but taken off for "shooting") True wild boar are scary and the yanks would shit themselves and run away.

I would think this poor critter (sorry) was scared half to death and trying to escape.

I have to say, the actuality of plugging an animal with 8 bullents, chasing it's wounded arse around some theme park woods for three hours until it collapses in a stream and you can get close enough to "finish it off point blank" (ie it is pretty much dead because you wouldn't get close enough for point blank to a porker that size if it wasn't!) is fairly sickening for a kid or an adult to do.

That isn't hunting, it is just playing with guns.
