| CDs from ASDA - I'm a happy girlie! Went shopping in Asda early this morning to avoid the plebs and had a look at the cheap CDs they have at the moment. Having done my 'Rude Boy Revival' best of Mod, Ska and Two-Tone CD to death recently I'm well chuffed to have picked up a 'Best of Ska' triple CD for a fiver. An absolute bargain On top of this I got a Jam compliation that seems to have all my favourites from 'All Mod Cons', 'The Gift' and 'Sound Effects' for seven quid. Oh, and I got a Womack and Womack CD for £3. Can't wait to go for a long drive somewhere ![]()

My mate has also just bought from Asda (on t'internet) a Kinks compilation CD. I have an original 'Something Else' by the Kinks on vinyl but no record player now, so I was hoping to find it at Asda today too, but no luck.

Look mate - I've only just managed the jump from vinyl to CD. Don't expect me to be able to work out how to use these new-fangled portable musical entertainment contraptions ![]()

| Tesco's is doing the same thing, I went there last night and ended up buying 7 cds ranging from 20p to £3. I haven't had a CD player for about 18 months, I'll just have to rip them to MP3 still it was cheaper that iTunes (Also try Download mp3 music, buy mp3 music - LegalSounds.com for cheap semi-legal downloads) |
