A34 Delays - if heading south

To anyone heading down towards the south coast this weekend, there are at least 2 hours delays on the A34 near the M4 junction according to the radio, I was just checking before I left out.

Everywhere around Newbury and the A34/M4 J13 junction is flooded.
The A34 has been closed where it passes underneath the M4 due to flooding in that underpass. There have also been reports that the roundabout at the M4 junction (13) has also flooded.

The A34 Newbury bypass has at least got partial flooding.

The M4 itself around here is also very bad for anyone trying to get onto the A4 to head south from here.

I'm supposed to be going down to Swanage in the morning, but given the RIB will need a tractor to get to it at the moment, we might not be going after all...

... and I still have to work out how to get home from Newbury this evening...

you'll need the rib to get to the tractor tho!

just put your kit on, swim to the rib, jump in and drive the boat down the a34
