Thumbs up Accolade to YDers

YD and YDers have brought so much to my diving, and life, but this week said it all

A YDer sold me some twin 12s (wanted in time for Orkneys trip) which I could only get if someone could get them up from Falmouth. YD postal service request thread, great offers. Thanks guys
Helpful and patient, NeilP transported them to St Agnes where Finbar (with the assistance of his fiance) got them transported to Guildford. I collected them today, showed Fin my new dSMB, and got some 10 mil bungee too Thanks NeilP, Fin and Mrs. Fin to be

Also this week I ordered the dSMB I'd wanted for a while (now wanted for Orkneys trip, can you see a trend ) and came across an obstacle. Post a thread and in no time at all I was supplied with useful info and some great new contacts. Thanks guys

The week was riddled with set backs. New car battery needed Tuesday, gigantic insect bite swellings, work , new brakes (pads & discs) needed Friday and then I needed to post a thread requesting info on a 'medical support item'. Immediately useful info and links and one support item ordered in time for the Orkneys trip Thanks again guys

YDers are truly wonderful and I often wish everyone was like it. On top of all that this week Hogan Deifar kindly popped round on Tuesday to lend me her hoover (mine's stopped working and I couldn't take it any longer!) and had to travel through all the 'it rained a lot' traffic on Friday to collect it AND take a harness for PeeBee to try at Swanage. There is no limit to which YDers will go for each other and I am extremely proud to be amongst them

Big up for YDers. Pat yourselves on the back. You're magic
And many thanks to Jay for making it all happen in the first place
Oh, can anybody lend me a dry suit or semi-wet for a kit check dive in Wraysbury this week

You're more than welcome. And as I said, call me during the week, so you can borrow it before you go away. Then you'll come back to a nice clean house!!!

I concur your thoughts. Sod the people who post the negative stuff. As a whole this place is a great community and long may it continue!

Um, Pete, can I borrow it on the 3rd? There's something I need to do before I go under the pier. Is it a full leg or shortie? I'm a bit taller than Sixy so may be more suited for me!!!! As long as Sixy doesn't still need it then!

I have an otter brittanic that you are welcome to borrow if you can pick up from Essex (Dartford Crossing) as modelled here:

[Edit:] Oops, just realised you are a girlie! My suit won't fit then

You have got a semi? You are unsure whether it's the ideal shape? Shame it's not Friday evening .... or just about any time that B.Babe is around because I cannot imagine that a statement like that would pass .... un-smutted

Mal.. my bulges are in the opposite places to sixy's.. and as she says she's a short arse although you wouldn't know it from the volume she can raise.

HD, yes of course, do you want to try it on first?

I just want to borrow something so I can check some kit on Wednesday (Dry suit at Scapa Scuba, I hope !)
I expect Pete's will be huge on me but it's worth a try, in the absence of a large breasted lady's one

Thanks JAG and very nice it looks too but, as you say, I'm a girlie so is unlikely to fit

Insects

I too have loads of insect bites - from Wraysbury last Wednesday!

I forgot to put the cream on them before putting on my drysuit yesterday, so spent a couple of dives wanting to scratch holes in my suit Still, at least we got in the water, if only at a (super-busy) stoney cove. South coast dive blown out
