An update on the life of me.....I'm a Dad again!
Hi all

A quick post to let my YD friends (both of them) know what is happening on my planet. Apologies for being uncharacteristically quiet.

Firstly, and most importantly, I'm a dad again!!! My wonderful other half went overdue by 12 days so she was asked to go into hospital last thursday, to cut a LONG story short, we had a baby girl of 8lbs 2oz at 17:06 last night. Parts of it were amongst the scariest and most traumatic of my life .......luckily its probably perfectly normal for the excellent staff of Midwives, Nurses and Doctors. The good news is that mum and baby are both recovering well, hopefully both will be home later this week and our daughter having required a bit of intensive care will be able to join her mum (hopefully tomorrow). No name for the little one yet, her working title is still Beany.

In other news, the week before my beany was due my job/role was made redundant......although I was offered and alternative role I chose redundancy as it will giove me a great opportunity to spend some time with 'the bean' and it was about time for a change anyway

By the way, I nearly forgot to mention.

Beany is quite possibly the most beautiful baby ever (......although some have suggested I may be biased ) and I have never loved her mum more, a truly amazing woman!
