Gooners help required
A mate of mine is heading off to The Emerates on Sunday and is after details of where is best to park. He's emailed Islington council and not surprisingly had no reply.

So any decent local parking spaces for local people? He doesn't want to be bothered by scallies as he's a scouser and is looking to get away from all that for the day as well as see some nice passing football

Park at Brent Cross shopping centre at the bottom of the M1, then get a bus or the tube.
The centre is open from 12 - 6 so the car park will be open from 11 - 7

As most the parking around the old and new stadium is resident permit holders only I park off one of the streets of Stroud Green Road then have a 20 minute walk to the stadium along Blackstock road and then down Avenall Road.
In my opinion its pointless parking at Brent Cross and getting tube or bus in as tube will be rammed packed.
Stroud green road is a good road to get out onto North Circular as well away from most of the traffic.
