You are dpot on! You should also add "hurry up, it's getting hot and starting to dribble over my hand"!

Do THEY read YD?

(I've got a nasty habit of following you and asking if your ex('s) read YD!)

Thread necromancy alert!

Seeing as a few folks are getting on bikes at the moment, I thought I'd drag this one back from the graveyard......

I once lived in a big flat were one entire room was given over to bikes. We had them hanging like sardines all down one wall, and a full workshop down the other. There was around 15 bikes between only three of us, we ended up giving nearly all of them names - it was the only practical thing to do.
All the local kids would bring us their bikes to get them fixed, and the place became known locally as 'Cog'.

Currently I've got two bikes, so they don't really need names.

My favourite of the five I had previously was the Abbott. Its still out there being ridden by the friend of a friend - tall, black and distinguished with a rather stately air - the bike not the rider......

Wow, blast from the past! I'd forgotten this thread.

Since I started this one I've bought a second bike (that's the thing about having your birthday a week before Christmas, you've got to buy yourself a decent pressie)

It's matt black and folds up so it's called "the stealth bike"! My hybrid still doesn't have a name though.

I'll be riding the stealth on the Thames Bridges in two weeks time (there's still time to throw a few shekels in the sponsorship bucket, see link below )
