These guys run a weekly satirical TV show on ABC, a real laugh, they pull various stunts, like crashing press conferences, ambushing politicians, foreign dignitaries, business & showbiz figures etc at events, dinners etc. The pollies all know them, so they get a bit of leeway and they just have to grin and play along with it, some handle it well, other's don't.

The coppers who arrested them were all shown on TV having a bit of a giggle about it. (after all, no one wants to be seen on TV being a twat with the Chaser guys.

Seems to me that they were performing a valuable service, what if it had been some of Bin Ladens mates. The NSW Police have been working flat stick on security for APEC, for months now, half of central Sydney has been cordoned off, causing massive disruption, biggest load of bullsh!t you ever heard, it's got me buggered why they don't just take over a resort on the GBR for a few days and put a naval cordon round it, instead of inconveniencing 5 million people. And after all that, a bunch of comedians breach their much hyped security by figuratively walking through the front door.

Oddly enough jet skis are banned on Sydney Harbour so guess what the

security people are buzzing about on?

. Wednesday night's show got the highest viewer rating (about 2.5 million I think) of anything on TV this month.

Me & the boys watched this and just wet ourselves. The NSW Police Minister and the police commissioner went on TV and carried on like pork chops about how irresponsible they'd been and how they had snipers on every rooftop who "mean't business" and all that bullsh!t.

Methinks those gentlemen did protest too loudly. The question most of us are asking, is how could it have been so bloody easy.
