I didn't check the credentials of the "article" but I assumed it to be a spoof(?) which nonetheless uses the original and proper meaning for "gay".

I do wish we could have the "gay" word back unsullied and innocent so I could go out and a have a gay day again! Just like when Julian got Dick in the tent! What a laugh Anne and George had over their lashings of ginger beer before George let Timmy lick her all over.

Sorry, I didn't explain too well. I am aware of there being a book/article on the subject BUT I thought someone had at least altered some of the text if not having rewritten most of it.

Even back in the 30's/40's I don't think anyone would tell a woman not to be annoyed if her hubby had stayed out all night? Of course I might be completly incorrect and, indeed, usually am!

I think it was in Mrs Beaton's book. I seem to recall one of my neighbours bought it for his wife, then read it out at her birthday party. she collected old books. She also collected a new 'husband' shortly after. Original bloke thought it was a good laugh at the time. My Mrs has also read the article, it has been re-printed several times (un-edited).

I suppose she can always say no ............ although that would seem to be a bit unreasonable IMO and assuming you allow her to make any decisions.
