How big is infinity then?

Any number divided by itself is one, therefore 0/0=1

Any number divided by 0 is infinity, therefore 0/0= infinity

rearranging, infinity= 1 , a comprehendable pretty small number really.

Yep! Still got my my one from my school days.

Electronic calculators just came out whilst I was still at school but the were scientific and DIY, if I remember correctly, which I probably don't!

I know what you mean ! The HP scientific calculator. What a piece of work. I ended up with a dead cool scientific Casio with all sorts of double uses for buttons. I wouldn't even know how to use it now Although I did have a rather sexy HP financial calculator in 1994 which made NPV and IIR calculations a lot easier

I never did get along well with a sliderule, needed way too much patience and a steady hand

So funny, today I ended up in a conversation about going to the cinema when we had B movies, intervals and even a band before. I remember receiving my first kiss from a boy (on the cheek of course) at the Saturday Morning Pictures, entrance 6d
