| Anything by the Michael Winner (the excerable Deathwish etc). (except for the one with Oliver Reed and the elephant escaping from the Nazis which is rather good fun) And perhaps the otherwise talented Woody Allen's "Interiors". He was trying to be Bergman apparently, although Bergman's films are at least watchable if you like that sort of thing. I packed in after about 45 minutes - I think the high spot was someone had bought a vase, or at least told someone she had. Enough ! A rather arty film bloke told me it was beautifully shot. And I do like slow arty films within reason, but not this one. I enjoyed "Dude Where's My car" as good fun. It's not trying to be Battleship Potemkin after all. Hywel |

| The 2nd and 3rd matrix films were pretty rubbish. Leaving the cinema after the 3rd one and just seeing a crowd of disappointed faces and disparaging comments was the best bit! 'Lord of the G-Strings' was a pretty poor low budget (very) soft porn epic... Bad bad bad bad...

| THX1138 - if you have never seen it don't bother. I think it came on TV only the once 15 years or more ago. It was that shite it has not been repeated on Channel 4, ever. Think it was one of Spielburg's firsts......certainly one to be left off the CV. edit: Sorry it was George Lucas....not long before Star Wars (1971).
