| I am packing travel adapters for the trip and I think I packed the wrong one and don't want to pack both - I don't have room Are US plug 2 or 3 pin - round or flat ? Please help me going out of my mind - I haven't slept for 2 nights |

| US plugs are typically 2 pin flat. There are some which are 3 pin (centre pin round and two flat pins) but for your purposes a 2 pin flat adapter is fine U.S. is Type A or Type B Electricity around the world: everything about plugs, sockets, voltages, converters, etc. |

| Thanks Steve, your advice is much appreciated as normal However the big torch was never going anyway and the fins are non negotiable. I am expecting to be charged for excess baggage, if I was sensible I would prebook some and get the discount, but as I am not I am going to take the chance they are nice to me |
