I once went to a ski resort in Austria called Auffach. At the base of the ski lift was a hotel called the Auffach Hof. That raised a larf every day.

There's a place between York and Driffield called Wetwang. Not rude but very amusing I think!

Scott Mills on Radio 1 did something like this the other day, when he called places in america with rude names, like, Bald Knob & Dildo. These places actually exist!

Not rude, but a bit cartoonesque. I live in Plumpton Green, which always raises an eyebrow and smile from people of a certain age (Trumpton). Our nearest rivals I mean neighbouring village is Wivelsfield Green and they have a road there called Slugwash Lane.
