| Business leccie prices!!! Further to my other post about 'how to work out the cost of running an electrical appliance' I called my electricity supplier to be told:- You are on the standard business rate but it is much cheaper on the contract business rate. Unfortunately we are not allowed to sell it to you unless you ask us about it????? Ordinarily a letter is sent advising you that you are on the standard rate and that is usually enough to prompt people to ask? Anyway, if you are a business user of electricity and are on the standard rate then phone up your supplier and ask about the contract rates.

| Bryan We currently pay 8.9p per unit day time & 4.6 night time but on saturday it goes up by .07 pence per unit ,all +vat . thats with EDF . HTH
