Comfort food for me after a really poo day in work tends to be pick up chips on way home, with a decent piece of steak covered in peppercorns & Whisky or brandy, rare to medium rare with the pan deglazed and thickened with cream for sauce.
Sometimes I may just do a couple of fried eggs instead of the sauce.

I just can not be bothered cooking chips.

I really love fried egg (fried in butter) sandwhiches with fresh crusty bread and lots of butter.

I'm not sure it counts as food but I'd love to find a woman that ................ :red face:

On "Mock the Week" they were doing sketches about letters that probably wouldn't make it onto "Points of View". Frankie came up with:

"Dear BBC,
The other night I watched Nigella Lawson, and picked up a couple of good tips on baking bread: and in the process I just about ripped my c@ck off!!"

Ahem,

I just watched tonight's documentary on Stephen Fry (50 Not Out) which, by the way, I thought was v/good.

Anyway, he mentioned being told the proper way to eat chocolate which is to put a small bit on your tongue and let it melt, occasionally pushing it up on to the roof of your mouth. I might just give that a try later.

That is a lovely way to eat chocolate. cadbury's dairy milk used to hav a bar which had squares exactly the right size to fit into that little hollow in the roof of my mouth. the current 50g size has rectangles, which don't fit as easily.

(sorry... was that too much information? )
