Sadly, I don't remember pocket money before 1971 (when it was pounds, shillings and pence) we went to live in Cyprus, where I got 100mils, progessing to 250mils. Then we came back and I got £4 to last a whole half term at school. Most of that went on chocolate.

One of my other comfort foods is bananas with condensed milk.
