I know the really stupid question is the one you didnt ask but as a newbie to the site I dont know - -

How do I use the fancy smiley faces/icons etc you guys use ?

Can I use them elsewhere ?

Can I enter a picture/ graphic to use for my ID- eg. a cartoon kangaroo ?

I haven't owt to say, much, just wanted to see if Jay has ridded me of that bloody Lovejoy avatar, seeing as the forum is on the subject.

I would have liked to be with you all on the St Abbs trip as I'm now back in the world of the waged. But Our Gertie has hoisted her drawers and insisted we go on an alternative camping trip, to Appletreewick, with a couple of mates, but at least they're bringing half an ounce of wacky baccy to make the party swing!
I don't see much opportunity of a splosh there unless I take my gear and wander down to Bolton Abbey for a dip in the Nidd. Could I class The Strid as a drift dive?
