UNITED NATIONS SURVEY

Last month, a world survey was conducted by the UN.
The only question asked was: "Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world."

The survey was a huge failure...

In Africa they didn't know what "food" meant.
In Eastern Europe they didn't know what "honest" meant.
In Western Europe they didn't know what "shortage" meant.
In China they didn't know what "opinion" meant.
In the Middle East they didn't know what "solution" meant.
In South America they didn't know what "please" meant.
And in the USA they didn't know what "the rest of the world" meant.

Yeah, think I should, not fair to poach on Billy's territory. I'd quite like a pic of a Mytilus edulis, one of my favourite beasties (not for food purposes cos I know a story about that - yuk!)

Anyhoo - Rene Descartes is sitting in a Bar in Paris  feeling fairly inebriated, Barman says "Another drink Rene?" Descartes replies "I think not..." and vanished in a puff of his own logic.

Well, it made me laugh like a drain!

PS an avatar of Paul McCartney or Tony Robinson would work as "apparently" that's what I'm going to look like one day!

Sorry Steve,  I was honoured, not bothered that someone liked the Kangaroo. Please please use it if you like.
I got it off the site
http://w1.511.telia.com/~u51102888/a...l2/animal2.htm
There are lots of interesting images on this page alone - never mind the other categories.  I cant wait to see what happens when you all join in.

Perhaps we ought to have a sanity check before the whole site gets too surreal.
