Why? I found her to be a really pleasant lady to talk with Berko

| Whilst some of the scripting on her TV shows is a bit over the top, I found her to be very pleasant when I met here at the dive show a couple of years back. She has done and continues to do some excellent work for mencap. Ian |

| I just find myself mesmerised by her ginormous forehead and weird starey eyes. She really is a very odd looking person. Amazing ability, though. 525 feet on a single breath is truly incredible.

[EDIT] Spurred on by the fact that she's pretty well unheard of in Aus and although I'd heard the name on here, the face eluded me, so I had a quick squiz on Google and in all seriousness, I have to say that I liked what I saw, quite a lot, in fact a very lot. OK, so maybe she's not the perfect Face of Vogue or whatever but I have to say Tanya Streeter to me, she looks pretty gorgeous - I haven't heard her speak, so no comment intended here on personality, brains etc (although I'm sure she speaks very highly of me). I think you girls need to take a chill pill and realise that film star looks actually aren't the norm, in fact today's standard of film star looks never were the norm, not until photoshop came along. Personally, I prefer real women, any minor imperfections (as long as not pigdog ugly) are all part of the deal.

This was one of the better programes that I have seen her in. The others, where she dives with other marine animals pissed me off a bit as the impression given was that it was fine for her to have a 1-1 encounter, but not for Joe Public. That does not mean that I approve of harrassing animals from their habitat, I just felt that the point could have been made better. Last night brought home to me the financial pressure that these divers are under to perform. Sure it was dressed up up to build the "will she or won't she" suspense, but what I think relly added to the danger was that he husband/manager (sorry to break this to you Richard r P
